He is a bit boring and nerdy, but knows the math. How exciting can differential equations really be? He explained the topics and did few problems, there was optional recitation that probably had more examples. Overall I liked him as a math teacher. Seemed helpful.MATH2341 2010-01-10 23:18:13 +0000 UTC
A nice guy but is perhaps the worst teacher at NU. Tests involved the hardest material in the class and most of the questions were out of left field. Avoid if you can.MTHU341 2008-12-29 12:57:00 +0000 UTC
Again, good guy that means well, but SHOULD NOT be a teacher. Avoid him at all costs, especially if you have an 8am class with him.UMTH341 2008-04-19 00:39:04 +0000 UTC
Nice guy and means well but weird teacher. Doesn't explain things very well. Awkward to go to out of class. MTH U130 is a generally easy class with use of calculator a lot but somehow i managed to get bad quiz grades. He doesn't know how to word word problems and general questions on quizzes and tests and that messed me up a lot. But not that bad.MTHU130 2008-03-16 15:34:47 +0000 UTC
THIS MAN IS AWFUL. Get out of his class if you can. He doesn't teach anything and then grades your homework as a test. Has made me hate math.MTHUU341 2008-02-05 22:38:27 +0000 UTC
I had him for my Applications of Algebra recitation. It's an easy course, but I hardly ever learned anything in his class. He has a habit of going over small, easy details multiple times while breezing through the harder stuff (I feel sorry for anyone who has him for Calc). He's also incredibly socially awkward - it's painful to watch him teach.MTH115 2006-10-16 11:16:52 +0000 UTC
If you get assigned to Gonzalez transfer while you can!CALC2 2006-03-07 09:03:30 +0000 UTC
expects the class * to know * about things that are barely talked about.CALC 2005-09-01 11:59:05 +0000 UTC
This guy may be smart but hes a terrible teacher. His examples bite, his quizes are too hard, and the homework is due after the quizes (doesnt make any sense). He also cant explain anything which is pretty band considering hes trying to teach calc 2. Probably the worst teacher I ever had.CALC2 2005-04-12 20:32:28 +0000 UTC
He's an ok guy, def knows his math, but he can't teach at all! He's vague and expects the class about things that are barely talked about. Here's a tip to get ahead: Read the chapter before he teaches it. Otherwise you'll be completely confused.CALC 2005-09-01 11:58:00 +0000 UTC
