Garneau is a VERY kind professor and caring. She makes each class so fun to attend. The work is also very reasonable; assignments due everyday and a few papers here and there but manageable as long as you have even decent time management. Class was smaller but very comfortable and connected. Kelly is extremely understanding and caring, and she truly cares about all of her students. She's very flexible with work and deadlines, and will change things as long as the work gets done. If you're an engineer or don't like fluff assignments don't take this teacher. She was terrible at explaining assignments and doesn't give good grades easily. One of the best teachers. College writing was very hard for me, but she goes above and beyond to help you out, proofreading and editing papers ahead of time, or talking ideas through with you, to ensure good grades. Prof. Garneau is really passionate and caring for her students. She takes it easy on the most intensive writing tasks and the topics are really enjoyable for me to write. She is extremely approachable, always available, and will email you with suggestions even late at night. I enjoyed going to her class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Love her, very caring, laid back and personable professor. My only critique is that paper assignments are very ambiguous and have no structure, very difficult to write papers with little to no guidelines given.
