Awesome professorCS5500 2015-07-28 01:02:39 +0000 UTC
He is more like a history teacher than CS teacher, always talked about inventor of the algorithm but never focus on the algorithm. Homework questions are unreasonable, obscure and deduct our marks for unmentioned requirement. He just keep the requirements in his head and suppose all of us can guess what is inside is mind!CS5800 2014-04-16 17:48:46 +0000 UTC
If you can, I'd advise you to refrain from taking his class. Take any other professor's class but Ken. You wont understand a thing in his class. He just keeps bragging about his work and assumes that his students are Phd students......CSDBMS 2010-10-07 20:10:20 +0000 UTC
just tells stories of what he has achieved n all the people he knowsDBMS5200 2009-12-09 18:47:21 +0000 UTC
He changed the way he taught the course this year. 10 quizes 1 per week. Only learned something right before the class on thursday. Sample quizes were put on thursday morning and answers about 30 minutes before the test, therefore useless to try and learn it your self. For the project, everyone just made up stuffCSU430 2008-12-08 17:14:53 +0000 UTC
Chilled prof!CS5200 2012-12-25 13:33:30 +0000 UTC
He is a genius, but he is totally incapable of recognizing the disconnect between what he says and what students understand. His lectures were painful to sit through because he would often go off-topic and boast about the work his colleagues have done, or the projects he used to work on. That's great, but it doesn't help with the homework/exams!CS5800 2013-04-25 10:35:52 +0000 UTC
Very easy class, great guy...always willing to help.CSU430 2005-07-28 12:16:57 +0000 UTC
He's a very nice guy and is very flexible. The class got him to drop a quiz grade and not have a final exam. There was no homework assignments, so this was one of the easiest classes I ever took and I got a relatively easy A. I highly recommend taking his class.CSU430 2005-04-19 17:24:10 +0000 UTC
