One of the best professors I've had at Northeastern. He is so knowledgable and highly active in his industry which makes his content authentic and extensive. Lectures were long but so fun to attend due to his amazing teaching style. A lot of reading and writing required but grading is fair and content is so interesting. Prof Courtney's Cyberlaw course is an absolute must-take. He's one of those professors who's clearly smart but never makes the material feel intimidating, always prepared, engaging, and genuinely great at running a discussion class that makes you think. By far the best course I had in the MSIA program - actually he's the best professor I have had at Northeastern. Never let him go. Structure was great and the material chosen was very interesting and taught new skills.
