Mrs. Beerits is pretty much the nicest professor I've had at Northeastern. Professor Beerits was incredibly kind and respectful. She sat the class in a circle so all students could see each other and could easily participate in lecture. Her workload was nicely balanced and relatively light. She would even sometimes bring in cookies to class too! Terrible class. I thought I was making a good choice by taking Advanced Writing async. But no, she assigns so much homework and the prompts aren't even clear. Have to spend like 15 mins going through a 8 page Google Doc just to understand what the prompt even is. Definitely regret taking her class. You can learn about anything you want in the class, can discover yourself so much. So caretaking, nice and a great professor. So useful and amazing. Prof. Beerits is the sweetest professor I've ever had and think I ever will have. She cares sooo much about her students, and checked in on us a bunch during COVID. She's an easy grader with clear expectations. If you need help with paper ideas or need an extension, she will help you.
