Took Probability with him. He is definitely good at what he teaches. Fair exams and quizzes if you go to lectures and do the homework. One drawback: messy hand writing.MATH3100 2020-10-29 06:28:34 +0000 UTC
Very consistent and a good teacher. If you do the homeworks, and take notes during his lectures the quizzes and exams will not be very challenging. Petrov will answer emails in minutes no matter when you send them. I once got a response in 3 mins, to an email sent past midnight. I highly recommend Prof. PetrovMATH3081 2014-04-17 10:46:48 +0000 UTC
Had him for Probability & Statistics. He's a funny guy, and definitely loves to teach. Quizzes are always reasonably easy. It's not hard to do well in the course. It can be confusing at times but there are lots of examples.MATH3081 2013-12-06 22:21:19 +0000 UTC
A young teacher. He has an accent but you can understand him if you pay well attention in class. He love what he teaches, and he is doing some research about probability while teaching. He is very easy to communicate with, and always willing to help, reply your email in a second, and he is a fair grader: he even tells you how he curved a quiz.MATH3081 2012-04-28 01:28:19 +0000 UTC
