Lynn is a little crazy but she means the best. There is not much homework but there are three papers and none of them are hard you just have to put in effort. Such a sweet professor, her assignments aren't very interesting but it's easy to understand what she expects from you and if you do exactly that you're fine. She's very understanding and will respond kindly if you ask any type of questions online. Not what I expected from this course but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. This professor is the worst. Constantly assigns first drafts to be submitted but won't ever give criticism or corrections until after the final draft has to be submitted. Harshest grader who only likes one writing style. I am not an English major for a reason and SHE made my experience that much more unenjoyable. She is a very easy professor! But to get an A you must definitely ALL of the assignments which definitely are NOT hard and are NOT many. Her essays could be very fun if you are into creative writing and learning new writing styles. I really enjoyed this class. It was challenging, but if you put in the effort and the time you will do well. I think a lot of how well you do depends on how developed your skills were to begin with. Ms. Dornick is the best teacher at this school! i had her all of my first year. She is the most helpful and understanding teacher you will have if you participate, and she makes a boring class really interesting. She is so fair and motivating. Professor Dornink was really great. I did learn anything in this class but it was a good way to get a break from the stress of other classes. It is extremely easy to do well. Really great class. Although she is a bit challenging its definitely doable. ITs really rewarding when you finish that class, you really feel like you've accomplished something and feel somewhat enlightened.
