I took patho/pharm with Prof Bronski and I loved her. She made hard concepts easy to understand, used in-class case studies to reinforce. The tests were based directly off of her slides. The class was fairly straightforward and the tests mostly would correlate with the notes/lecture. There would be questions from the "recommended" textbook/material not covered in lecture. Professor bronski has been the worst professor I have taken. She does not care if you understand the material. I met with her individually a few times for extra help and she was demeaning and unsupportive. Although I got an A on all of her exams she still treated me like I was not capable. Dr. Bronski is a horrible professor. She won't let you review quizzes or ask any questions to prepare for the final. Also all her notes are plagiarized, im convinced she is actually clueless on what she's supposed to be teaching. absolute worst professor at NEU school of Nursing. There's no justification for someone this cold and incompetent to be teaching nursing students; much less public health. She didn't give a course outline in the syllabus or any grading criteria. Participation is 15% of the grade and there is no rubric, just her subjectivity. I took her patho-pharm class and I really enjoyed it! She makes difficult content understandable and interesting. Dr. Bronski is a nice professor, but the class is test heavy. The tests are fairly easy if you read through the lecture notes, but there were a few questions on each test from the textbook that we did not cover in class. I dont know why Dr. Bronski's ratings are so harsh. She is a really nice lady who has a lot of nursing experience. She keeps it straightforward and simple and most often my class did not take the whole block. She is not a hard grader on written assignments. Dr. Bronski is a great professor! Please do not listen to the others on this thread... you will miss out! Just do what she says to do regarding preparation, and you will do fine. Her exams were about 40 questions, and most people finished in less than 20 mins. You do not need the book! By far the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. I did not learn anything and had to go out of my way to read and study extra for the one credit course. I loved Professor Bronski. She has been the best nursing professor I have had yet. She wants you to succeed. I learned so much during this course and found it really engaging. Her exams can be a little difficult so lots of out of class studying is necessary. She keeps everyone engaged in class by doing case studies.
