Helpful guy and cares if students learn the material. He is always available for help after class.CALC3 2014-01-20 23:47:10 +0000 UTC
Difficult to understand at times, but truly cares about his students. Great sweater vests. Willing to help if you ask for it. Don't sleep in class. Attendance is very important, as he will tell you daily.MATH1341 2011-09-11 13:17:05 +0000 UTC
Worst teacher I have ever had. Yes, he's a nice guy, but he speaks very poor English and constantly made errors on the board, got defensive when asked a question, and was just all over the place. I'm sure he's great at math but unfortunately I never got that impression. If I hadn't have already taken Calculus in high school I would have failed.MATH1241 2011-04-12 19:47:04 +0000 UTC
Generally cares about your grade and gives second opportunities. Scales if needed. Quiz's are very similair to homework questions assigned. Only limitation as having as a teacher is that he finds rather difficuilt to speak the english language.CALC1341 2011-04-01 08:46:00 +0000 UTC
Some people were rough on him, but if you take his notes in class and do the homework the tests are pretty much the same thing. Final was ridiculous and worth 40% of the grade, must have scaled it because i still got an A.MATH141 2010-04-03 12:19:08 +0000 UTC
the class is hard because he can't speak english very well. when he gets frusterated he giggles and speaks fast and loud so it is even harder to understand him. on the other hand its real easy to get points back on quizes, he is a bit of a pushover. everyone in the class is screwed for the final because we are behind pace.CALC1241 2009-12-03 14:23:42 +0000 UTC
I loved Professor Rahman. I felt bad because there were some jerk kids in my class who picked on him and gave him a hard time and he never did anything about it. You adjust to the accent and he writes everything out on the board word for word. Easy A! Really nice man, too.MTHU141 2009-04-01 14:38:16 +0000 UTC
He isn't very clear in his teaching methods and didn't get through half of the material in the class. Make sure you do your homework and if you have problems don't go to him go to the Math Center, it will be more helpful. He is a nice person and will help you out he is just too smart for an Intro Math course.MATH1241 2010-01-11 23:12:00 +0000 UTC
Very nice guy, but he really can't teach. He's very difficult to understand, and he can't answer questions. This professor doesn't correct homework and regularly hands tests and quizzes back late. If you didn't take calc in high school, don't take his class.CALC1241 2009-12-03 14:22:53 +0000 UTC
He is a terrible teacher. Doesn't know how to explain or answer the students questions. He is very poor at his explaining, I would learn much better from another student than him. His grading style is not so bad. Everything depend on the tests. He doesn't give HW solutions even after the homework was done weeks ago. Has a hard accent.MATH1241 2009-11-11 15:18:19 +0000 UTC
