If I could go back in time and select this professor again, I'd want to know that he is consistently 5-10 minutes late to class, always unorganized, never answers emails, late on grading, never uploads grades to canvas, and doesn't show up to office hours. Don't take this professor if you need an organized lecture to succeed. He is always late and in such a rush while doing his lecture. He is all over the place during lectures and the whole course in general. He gets extremely distracted and goes down a rabbit hole for half of the class. He doesn't know how to teach in a clear way. By far the worst teacher I've ever encountered. Spent multiple hours in study groups every week prior to every quiz teaching ourselves all of the material. Refused to give practice quizzes when our class asked numerous times. Never responds to emails. He is a very caring and approachable person. The lectures can be a bit hard to follow, but easy to understand if you skim over the textbook or attend office hours. Worst professor I've had. Very kind, but ineffective as a teacher. Disorganized, constantly late, doesn't post ANY supplemental material on Canvas (notes, practice, answer keys), slow grader, rambles during lectures, and NEVER responds to emails. Mid Hogancamp. He was constantly disorganized in appearance and in his lectures. We would be told not to worry about certain topics and then those same topics would make up the entire weekly quiz. Every single grade is late. Expect to wait for homework grades and feedback for over a month. Expect random changes in the homework and syllabus and no respect for your time.
