Prof Miazi is amazing. I was in his 6-9:30pm section, but he was usually able to fit all of his lectures in and let us out before 8pm. His lectures were very engaging despite being at night, and he always showed up with lots of energy to get us through. He was also very accessible for help with assignments. He is one of the best professors out there. He has made his entire course available on his website and the level of detailing his notes include are remarkable. Also he is not strict about attendance which provides more flexibility to students. His notes have step by step solutions to any doubt you have. Didn't really do much for the class. There's an in-person version of this class & that prof is 10x more involved. Sakib also didn't release proper guidelines for the final, meanwhile the other prof was very clear in requirements, and then Sakib goes "I don't know why you guys are looking at instructions from in-person section"... Dr Miazi is a very sweet and caring professor. I found the course material itself to be cool and the projects/assignments we had were pretty cool too. The lectures themselves were useful, but they did get a little dry, mainly because they were 1.5 hrs long. He's a good professor, sometimes the lectures can be a bit dull and repetitive but the quizzes were based off what we did in class, so basically take notes during the lectures, the homework were projects which were pretty easy to do. no midterms or final exams :D!!CY2550 2023-06-21 17:43:19 +0000 UTC
