GOAT English prof. So passionate and genuinely nice, always super positive and interesting. Very engaging classes where you actually want to participate. Professor McCluskey is amazing. Not only is the coursework relevant, but it is also interesting. He also tailored his assignments to get us to go out and explore the city. All of our classes were taught with high energy and passion. He gets to know each of his students on a personal level and wants you to succeed. Prof McCluskey is genuinely one of the best professors at NEU. He truly cares about creating a welcoming environment for all students and is super funny. Lectures are easy to follow & you know why you are learning something. Prof McCluskey is the GOAT! Never enjoyed any english class before until his. Shares the point of class is to read and understand stories, but generalizes stories to ourself, communities, and places. Professor McCluskey made First Year Writing, a class that would usually be boring, fun. He clearly wants students to be engaged in lecture and relates topics of the curriculum to the modern day. World's Best Professor, if you see him on your schedule just know you are one of the luckiest students at Northeastern. He is amazing, so caring and there for all of your needs, he uses great comedic relief in his lectures and really creates a family environment.
