It's really clear he truly loves to teach, and he leads his lessons by making room for all of his students to voice an opinion. He's witty, funny, and genuinely cares about his students. This professor made me enjoy writing again. He's outside the box and discourages strictly formatted writing. The writing assignments aren't long and the topics are relatively open ended, you can write about things you actually care about. Lectures are easy to follow & you know why you are learning something. The best professor for sure. This class was really fun and definitely so much more interesting and fun work compared to other professors teaching the same course. Do participate and pay attention. GOAT English prof. So passionate and genuinely nice, always super positive and interesting. Very engaging classes where you actually want to participate. Professor McCluskey is amazing. Not only is the coursework relevant, but it is also interesting. He also tailored his assignments to get us to go out and explore the city. All of our classes were taught with high energy and passion. He gets to know each of his students on a personal level and wants you to succeed. Prof McCluskey is the GOAT! Never enjoyed any english class before until his. Shares the point of class is to read and understand stories, but generalizes stories to ourself, communities, and places.
