A thoroughly excellent teacher who cares about her students. Yes, you have to work. Yes, the quizzes and homework are difficult. They also don't count for much in your final grade. It's all about the projects. Recitation is mostly useless due to it being ill-organized and never relevant to current material. Entirely Incapable of listening to student feedback. Poorly organized canvas page. Poor communicator. Unclear and unwritten grading criteria and assignment requirements. Poor quality supplemental learning materials that are often incorrect. Class was geared more towards satisfying professor desires than education. Michelle was very passionate about architecture and explaining how structures are relevant to architecture design - which is important for someone like me who isn't good at physics. It seemed like the class was trying too hard to be a studio class, but it fell short. The negative attitude made it quite challenging. When you try to ask a question, you can't even finish your sentence because you get interrupted and shut down. Unfortunately, this class has taken a toll on my mental health. She doesn't really prepare you for quizes and homeworks. To be honest I study the whole course myself throughout the semester and the textbook is quite hard to understand in certain parts. Frankly I don't remember her going through any examples in class - I'm talking about step by step tutorial, not vague concept/method.
