Kesir is THE MAN. I absolutely loved this guy! Super helpful and clear. Always willing to help. If you do the homework (which is optional), you'll do well on his tests!MATH1242 2013-04-30 00:13:06 +0000 UTC
Mustafa is the man! His accent is not too thick, and he takes the time to explain things to you if you in class and even more if you are willing to go to his office hours. Tests aren't too difficult if you follow the homework which is required. But overall the class was a lot easier than other calculus sections, Dubrovsky etc...MTH2321 2009-12-14 23:58:13 +0000 UTC
Prof Kesir is extremely helpful, breaks everything down and loves to answer questions. He made a mistake on my quiz, even though my answer was confusing, he told me to email him to correct my grade which he did instantly. He is very kind and soft spoken, and explains calculus in a very distinct, clear, and BASIC way that no other teacher has beforeMTH141 2009-05-14 14:19:33 +0000 UTC
Not a bad professor. Not sure about some of the other comments. I had him for statistics and he was pretty decent. Lectures can be boring but most can understand his accent. Always willing to help in answering questions and in office hours.MTHU280 2007-10-18 20:00:03 +0000 UTC
I dont know why everyone is giving this guy bad readings. Yes, he has an accent. But he is completely understandable. Boring in class but very clear in his explanations. Will answer any questions willingly, especialy helpful in office hrs. I dropped this class the year prior becaue I was failing, and got an A with Mustafa. Boring, but a nice guy.MTHU141 2006-12-09 21:52:15 +0000 UTC
it is very har to understand his accent. this is a big problem for a calc teacher. i believe that his grading is very prejudice. for example, on the same quiz, he will take points off of one person's and not others. try to take the class with someone else if at all possible.MTH152 2006-03-23 12:36:45 +0000 UTC
I skip class usually once or twice every other week, but his explanations of the material are straight forward so it's not hard to keep up. aside from his accent he is a good teacher. kinda dry. his quizzes and exams are very fair. i recently got 100% on the last midterm. so i personally don't think he's as hard or bad as some others have said.MATHU152 2006-02-21 23:11:13 +0000 UTC
They shouldn't have him teaching a class as important to future classes as Calc1. Try to switch but if you cant, be respectful, do all your HW, make sure you dont get behind and use your freinds in other classes for help. Nice, Fair, but not very clear.MTHU241 2006-02-20 23:39:46 +0000 UTC
Mustafa is alright. Hes fair, and he tries to be helpful, but the work is hard and his accent doesnt help. Lots of homework, no curve, lots of quizzes. Exams, quizzes and homeworks are REALLY hard problemsMTH152 2006-03-22 11:34:55 +0000 UTC
STAY. AWAY. Can't understand him, does not teach at all. Doesn't answer questions posed to him when he asks for questions. His accent is atrocious. Assumes everyone has already taken Calculus and skips over the building blocks. Quizzes on hardest problems and things not taught in class (or in the book!). STAY. AWAY!MTHU241 2005-10-08 19:29:06 +0000 UTC
cannot understand a word he says. i think he grades very unfairly. if you take his class you basically have to teach yourself the class. avoid him if you can!MTH152 2006-03-05 16:09:57 +0000 UTC
STAY AWAY....everything the last review said is true....should not be allowed to teachMTHU241 2005-10-04 12:37:00 +0000 UTC
for your own sake try and get another teacher if you are assigned kesir. he is a nice guy but has a very strong accent and you cant understand a word he says! class is difficult unless you took an AP calc in high school. cant teach and cant speak.....stay away unless you want your GPA to plummit. this is fair warning!MTHU241 2005-10-03 10:15:50 +0000 UTC
