I took Professor Kanza's Econometrics course during my graduate program. As an exchange student from Europe, I was not really familiar with the educational system in America, specifically an advanced econometrics course. Dr. Kanza was very instrumental in making me feel welcome and removing all the anxiety I had about Economics.ECONOMETRICS575 2023-01-16 15:49:50 +0000 UTC
Professor Kanza is a very nice person, he teaches extremely well. I personally enjoyed the practice questions he assigned during lectures. I noticed that his grading style is rigorous and strict, which in my view makes sense given the efforts he devotes to make sure every student understand Economics and the extra-miles he takes for students.ECON500 2022-01-02 19:42:51 +0000 UTC

I had a good experience taking Principles of Macroeconomics with Professor Kanza. He is a sweetheart, he made us feel welcomed in the class. This was my first intermediate macroeconomics class, and I personally liked how Professor Kanza taught this class. He is an outstanding instructor who always put his students first. Very approachable and explains the concept extremely well. At the end, you really feel it was worth the time and effort taking his class.ECON471 2020-01-31 21:38:18 +0000 UTC
Professor Kanza is a sweetheart! Very compassionate. At first, I was intimidated of the idea of taking graduate course in statistics. However, his teaching skills and easy way of explaining hard concepts made me feel in love with the course. I will definitely recommend him to anyone interested in learning more about statistics and probability.STAT410 2020-01-28 07:19:27 +0000 UTC
One of the best instructors of econometrics I've ever had. Explain concepts extremely well and he is very articulate. Professor Kanza always goes extra-miles to help students understand economics. I enjoyed him as my professor. In addition, He was instrumental in my decision to go for a doctoral degree in Economics.ECON600 2020-01-28 07:13:39 +0000 UTC
NEVER NEVER EVER REPLY TO MY EMAILS. HE HAS NO SYLLABUS, NO CLEAR REQUIREMENT FOR HOMEWORKS, NO TIMELY GRADING, NO GRADING CRITERIon, NO FEEDBACK AND EVEN NO PREPARATION FOR TEACHING THIS COURSE. He taught really basic statistics concepts in class with 0 correlation with those HEAVY homeworks. Also, there is a group project and final presentation.ALY6015 2019-10-24 05:56:56 +0000 UTC
This was my first econonetrics class as a Master's student in Economics. At first, I was very nervous about taking econometrics, however Dr. Kanza was the person who made the transition very smooth. He is very knowlegeable in Econometrics, and the lecture notes are well organized. He provides feadback and grades on a timely manner.ECONOMETRICS575 2020-06-18 01:09:39 +0000 UTC
By far the worse professor I have ever had. Not sure if he understands the material himself. Not accessible outside of class. Doesn't answer emails. Poor attitude in class. Late or no grading. Uses PowerPoints from a different textbook than what is on the syllabus. If you value your education, sanity, or GPA, DO NOT TAKE OR HIRE THIS PROFESSOR.ECON500 2021-10-30 11:14:08 +0000 UTC
Professor Kanza is the absolute worst! He lectures very fast. If you ask a question you will end up being even more confused than you were before. He is also ALWAYS behind on grading, you will hand homework in and not have a grade on it for over a month. There also is no accurate syllabus and he never sticks to his word.ECO1203 2020-11-23 17:30:50 +0000 UTC
