prof babin is such a slayer! i was worried that deadlines would be tight since this class was during summer 2, but everything was spaced out well and easy to handle on co-op bc it's async. also, he is very approachable and provided helpful feedback on each paper throughout the semester. there are quite a few peer reviews, so be prepared!ENGW3304 2023-08-24 01:01:37 +0000 UTC
I took Babin's intro writing course Fall 2018 and, even as someone who hates writing, it was a good experience. Babin is super kind and provided interesting aids to writing concepts, including in-class movies. Pretty easy grader and gives good feedback. Friendly, knowledgable, down-to-earth professor. Gives a good number of assignments but they're all to help you grasp the unit. Class organized into distinct units. Will look over drafts if you email them to him by a certain date. Overall an excellent professor, would highly recommend. Babin can be dry but is an amazing professor. He doesn't make you read books and separates the class by units All of the readings fall in the unit and culminate in a paper, which made writing the papers come naturally.
