By far the worst professor i've ever had, period. I have always gone to all my lectures, but this professor has somehow managed to ruin that record. Homeworks are vaguely graded, labs are vaguely presented. No notes. No presentations. Just blackboard, chalk and the most dry lecture. Very knowledgable professor, always available on piazza and outside of class to help. Lectures are bit dry, and hard to follow because they lack a flow, and homeworks/assignments aren't very organised. Cloud topics are hard topics and I think Peter doesn't really spend much time explaining them. The class is more of a student-lead presentation class, and Peter doesn't spend much time explaining himself. The homework load (project) and grades were okay though. Worst professor that I've had at this school by far. Lectures are unimaginably boring and convoluted. He walks up to the blackboard and starts rambling about concepts that he's never taught you as though he had. He's incredibly disorganized with content on Github, Canvas, Gradescope, and his website. Class had 10 homeworks, 4 larger coding labs (in groups), and two exams. Lectures were very dry overall and the class was incredibly disorganized. Every assignment needed to be corrected for errors (including exams). Has taught me more in an undergrad class than any other CS professor. His classes are hard and he is used to teaching Grad students so the pace is very fast and he will not cover some things if you do not ask. Excruciating. Lectures are ad-libbed. "Textbook" is a .pdf of his notes that wasn't ready until several weeks after semester started. Textbook, HW assignments, & even exams are riddled with errors.
