What kind of modern Web Development class is taught in ASP.NET?CS4550 2011-01-14 10:02:06 +0000 UTC
The worst professor u can get. Makes the class hard, does not help, he is very sarcastic . If you do not understand programs such as microsoft access you will not understand by him reading the power point slides. Make sure you get a good TA. they are the best!CS1101 2010-11-12 21:35:12 +0000 UTC
If you are a science/engineering major and/or have ever used Excel in your life, this class will be a joke. You can bring notes to tests. If you're a non-science major without much computer experience, you might have a very difficult time; people seem to. Teacher will give you all the classwork answers if you just bother to raise your hand and ask.CS1100 2010-04-16 22:23:25 +0000 UTC
easy class. one lab a week, graded pretty fairly. prof always available to help with programs. few, short, straightforward quizzes. no mandatory final. didn't learn that much C++ though.CS1500 2009-12-22 21:32:56 +0000 UTC
You can tell he's really smart and he knows what he's talking about, but he is very poor at actual teaching. I already understood lot about excel and access so I was fine, but if you're a total beginner then this will be a frustrating class. Lectures are unclear, doesn't really explain concepts, and tends to only half-answer student questions.CSU101 2009-04-30 14:17:47 +0000 UTC
I was a total novice in this class and got an A. Don't buy the book. Grades come from short quizzes which you can retake until you do well. He isn't a clear lecturer so you'll learn more from doing the labs on your own. He likes students who show up to class, and will go out of his way to help them, otherwise he gets defensive if you ask questions.CSU215 2009-02-17 10:25:31 +0000 UTC
worst teacher I've ever had. couldn't explain a concept to save his life. extremely immature when it comes to leading a class. needs to take a management/teaching class prontoCOMPU101 2008-12-25 16:15:14 +0000 UTC
The man can't teach. plain and simple. He might know what hes talking about , but we'll never know because his lessons are incomprehensible. That being said, I highly recommend this class. The class teaches xcel, access, and spss, which can be extremely useful. Also, its a class about xcel. Xcel! So freakin easy its unbelieveable!CS101 2008-12-04 12:19:07 +0000 UTC
The professor enjoys superfluous code, and to claim how amazing and inventive it is. The grade in the class was one huge project which he just more or less randomly assigned a grade to at the end of the year. Even though I loved the subject and the overall course, his comments were both unhelpful and snide.CS4550 2010-06-12 18:47:20 +0000 UTC
He is an extremely smart guy which of course means he can't teach anybody anything because they aren't at his level. The class is easy to get through though and some of the labs are kinda fun. The class consist of quizzes and labs only. No mid-term, and no final. In last class you get to retake any quizzes you did poorly on to boost your grade.CS1500 2009-12-19 10:06:49 +0000 UTC
He seems like he would be a really good troubleshooter for some computer company but he is pretty much a terrible teacher, he cant answer questions and seems unfamiliar with the course material. Don't take this class. The quizzes are on paper... how does that teach you to use a computer?!?!? Silly req. classCSU101 2008-01-28 19:55:32 +0000 UTC
This guy is hands down the worst professor ive ever had. Class consists of him reading PowerPoint presentations word for word. He's got a stupid "all or nothing" grading system. He is totally worthless outside of class as well, as he did not show up for office hours or respond to emails until days later.CSU215 2007-12-16 18:51:31 +0000 UTC
This guy is awesome. bald with suspenders. How can that not be appreciated. Class isn't that bad. Sit next to someone smart and do the labs during class, and it's not that hard. Plus, the material is actually helpful. I'm on a finance Coop now, and I use what i learned every dayCS101 2008-11-14 15:03:06 +0000 UTC
oh my god!! Horrible class!!! He does not introduce any programs, does not explain anything, moves very quickly. Big computer nerd who does not teach at all. Get the TA to help you - she'll do stuff for you. Don't skip class and go to help sessions. He's such a bad teacher! He'd be a good computer technician but not a TEACHerCSU101 2007-11-29 13:37:21 +0000 UTC
I must say I disagree with the other people rating him. If your interested and work hard you'll be fine. I think he fair and reasonable.CSU215 2007-12-07 01:15:44 +0000 UTC
