Possibly one of the best math prof at NEU. He makes sure that everyone understands the material and is very helpful.MTH1341 2009-12-15 12:06:28 +0000 UTC
One of the best Calc 2 teachers out there. Explains the material well and is always willing to explain a difficult topic a second time. Gives practice quizzes that are identical to the actual quizzes, same with the final.MTH242 2009-07-06 12:24:35 +0000 UTC
One of the easiest professor's I've had in a long time. He made Calc 3 a breeze. Although I may have failed any other professor's Calc 3 final and don't remember a single thing only a few months out, this class was an easy A.MTHU343 2009-05-17 11:58:29 +0000 UTC
Best calc professor I've ever had. Very helpful and clear when teaching, he can really spell everything out to you so understand exactly what is going on. 5 quizzes and most hw is optional. Pretty easy grader as well.CALC2 2009-04-30 16:36:54 +0000 UTC
excellent teacher, highly recommended but he is veryyy slow after the first few weeks. if math, calc in particular, comes easily to you, you will most likely be bored. go to class tho b/c examples are almost identical to those on quizzes. couple of graded homework assignments, 6/7 quizzes (practice quizzes given prior), and dept final.MTHU341 2009-01-14 15:31:33 +0000 UTC
My favorite math professor I've ever had and I'm a math major. Explains in a way where you absolutely understand what is going on and will give further clarification if needed. Also, the best at drawing in 3-D which was really helpful for calc 3. I would take every remaining math course with him if I could!MTH341 2008-11-13 16:02:00 +0000 UTC
absolutely the best professor ive had! he really explains well, great notes, great clarity. he makes sure that everyone understands the material and is very helpful at office hours. he is very fair, and quizzes are very similar to practice quizzes. he doesnt try to trick you on quizzes or tests and asks very straight forward questions. A+!!MTHU242 2008-06-02 19:36:03 +0000 UTC
Lectures were great and fairly easy to follow, and the quizzes and final all had very fair questions and we were given great review materials. My only complaint was this professor would only give us a couple days notice for quizzes which made it hard to plan in advance.MATH2321 2025-12-30 13:41:10 +0000 UTC
While his lectures can sometimes be a bit dry, he is one of the most talented teachers I've ever had. He spells everything out extremely clearly for his students, and if you show up to the class and do at least a good portion of the optional homework you should get an A. The class got a bit boring at times, but you learn the material thoroughly.MTH242 2009-03-01 00:17:49 +0000 UTC
Amazing math teacher. I had him for Diff Eq. He made what is supposedly a very difficult class extremely easy. Very good at giving clear directions, will explain things again if you don't understand. The quizzes are never unfairly tricky or surprising. A great guy, I definitely recommend trying to get him if you can.MTHU343 2007-03-28 18:17:19 +0000 UTC
Attendance not mandatory but definitely helps. His voice can put you to sleep sometimes so try stopping by DD or Starbucks before class =) . His notes are among the neatest I've ever seen. Collects hw a couple times throughout the semester, most are optional though. Practice quizzes posted on blackboard, and quizzes are fair.CALC2 2008-06-22 21:03:38 +0000 UTC
The Man. Possibly one of the best if not the best math professor at NEU. Go to class, do the optional homework and you are garunteed an A. He is clear, and very intelligent. If I could take differtials with him I would in a heartbeat.MTHU341 2008-12-20 18:19:03 +0000 UTC
He knows the subject! He writes very clear on the blackboard and will to go over the stuff as many times as you need if you didn't get it. Explains everything very clear.Gives sample quizes several days before each quiz(they look very similar). Great at office hours. The only minus for someone could be his accent. Despite that he is great.RecommendMTH341 2006-12-19 09:08:54 +0000 UTC
He is an amazing professor. all he cares about is to have learn from this class. his notes are very helpful for the quizzes. he walks around in the class to make sure that everyone is on track . . if there is someone having difficulties he will find him there anytime to help.MTHU242 2008-05-03 13:27:10 +0000 UTC
