She is super caring to all her students and replies to emails immediately. There are mainly 3 big tasks, and after you complete the first draft of each task, you complete a peer review, but if you want you can also ask the professor to check it for you. She's a passionate professor who lets students have lots of freedom to pick a topic of their choice for assignments. Very willing to help students/give them feedback on rough drafts. Accommodating, very reasonable with grading. I liked the discussion posts in addition to major writing projects to keep class interesting. Really cares about her students and is always available after class to speak to you. She gives really good feedback for every paper you have to turn in. If you take all of her feedback into consideration, you can expect an A in your paper. You are not deducted points for missing class, but she expects you to participate in class. Rachel is great. Her class is very difficult but you work for your grade and feel good about earning it after. She answers all questions clearly and if you talk to her outside of class, she is more helpful than most other professors I have had.
