Great professor, really cares about his students learning the material. The class average on one of the tests was a 63% and he let everyone retake the exact same test for a new grade. Apparently Calc1 students like Syed. If you're taking an intermediate math class and actually expect to learn from your professor, look elsewhere. Syed was of little help; he was often wrong, knew little about linear algebra, and couldn't answer a simple question. Awesome guy. He is serious about his math but enjoys teaching and is an expert. Old man, but quick in the mind. He has a great sense of humour and is extremely helpful, tends to go out of class during quizes, he wants you to do well in everything! Bottom line is that Syeds Business Calc Class is a guaranteed 'A' unless youre either an **** or a moron or both. If you want to be treated like youre in kindergarden and not do any thinking on your own, then Syed is your man.
