Professor Chang is my favorite professor of this semester. His lessons are easy to follow, and he posts his notes online afterwards. He also did in class test review for our final. Lectures are good enough, I find his slight humor to be funny. He is very well versed in the subject and has a neatly organized plan. If you do the optional homework you should get an A. His lectures for linear algebra are very focused on building intuition for what you are doing instead of examples. There is super short homework once a week to make sure you're coming along. He was an excellent lecturer and moved at a pace that made it extremely easy to follow and actively take notes. But, I missed a mid-term due to a life-altering event and notified him immediately, however he firmly replied that I would have to retake the course and I couldn't make it up, end of story. Robert Chang (Hsiang Chang in Banner) is an amazing teacher. He is very good at lecturing, and he is always very clear. He is a fair grader, and lets you drop 2 quizzes. Overall a very smart and straightforward professor. Def would take his class again for Calc 2. I LOVE Professor Chang. He is the best math prof I've had. His lectures are clear and easy to follow. He digitizes his notes and makes them accessible after class. Instead of weekly quizzes, he assigns a handful of hw problems to grade for accuracy (easy A+ category). Great at accommodating the fully online students this semester. Had easily accessible notes for each lecture and topic that helped a lot. Overall, great teacher.
