Ron Thomas is one smart cookie! He gave great lectures and he has a voice like a grandfather-- so soothing. His sylabus made it seem like we were gonna be loaded down with work, but there really werent many assignments. Great guy, cares a lot about his students and has a vast array of knowledge. However, his grading policy and habits are confusing and sporadic and the group TJX project is a nightmare. He is nice and kind. His lectures are clear and interesting. However, he is definitely a tough grader and he gives a lot, a lot, a lot of Homework (reading, essay, mini essay,...). Probably the BEST professor I have ever had. If you put in your best effort, participate you will get a good grade. After taking a class with him last semester I loved it so much I took public speaking this semester because he teaches it. Awesome professor. He is really really smart, he definitely knows a lot and has the experience to teach us highly valuable things. He was highly respectful of students and really cares about what you have to say (as long as it's not dull). The class is really challenging though, it is a capstone class. Excellent professor. Interesting class and learned a lot. Project is challenging and during the summer it is a time crunch. Exams are straight forward and a lot of writing. Great Professor! He knows almost everything about Buz. world. If you are someone who really want to learn, def. take him! otherwise not, because he's exams(blue books) are hard, you need to write for 2hours full non stop. Professor Thomas is perhaps the smartest man in the entire Northeastern University. Absolute genius. No matter what your major or concentration is, you should try and take one of his classes.
