The way he combines practical industry concepts as well as current research problems with course material is super informative. The course was hard as it covered lots of topics but as he says the expectation are very high from fresh graduates. He knows what he is doing! His courses are some of the most useful courses you would take in graduate school. Ryan is a wonderful professor. His quality of teaching and material is very high. He covers a lot of grounds, very knowledgeable and creative. Arguably one of the coolest professor I've ever met in my university years. This was a brand-new course, he created tons of quality materials and designed fun homework mini-projects.
