assumes you know the materialMATH1342 2017-11-15 15:53:00 +0000 UTC
He gives very confusing lecture and goes through a lot of new materials very fast.MATH1365 2016-12-11 23:04:57 +0000 UTC
He's a know it all to put it plainly. He's too cocky about how smart he is. the midterm was very easy. He does love his job though.12176 2015-01-07 22:14:15 +0000 UTC
Confusing lectures1342 2014-11-17 17:00:36 +0000 UTC
Nice guy, you can tell he loves what he does. Needs to lay off the red bull, sometimes he assumes you know the material which was annoying. But if you have a problem he's very approachable, but he may not have many other tactics of explaining a problem in a different way. If you feel comfortable with Calc 1 you'll do fine in his class.CALC1342 2014-11-12 19:47:47 +0000 UTC
Lectures felt long and confusing and doesn't give examples, only long definitions. Took BC Calculus before I took Calculus 2 and managed to confuse me with everything I learned before. Quizzes are 30% of the grade and are 3 questions each so if you mess a question up you're screwed but very easy to talk to during office hours.MATH1342 2015-03-02 23:25:21 +0000 UTC
Sean is good. He gives quizzes easy if you do the homework and he is mercy on grading. Studying notes will be helpful if you don't understand on class.MATH1365 2016-11-17 14:28:05 +0000 UTC
Sean treats the class like a review session and explains the concepts with nothing but paragraphs of writing on the board. No diagrams, pictures, few examples if any. Also he enjoys scoffing obout how easy his quizzes are after he announces the average was a 6.5. I highly reccomend not taking his class.MATH1342 2014-11-13 08:59:01 +0000 UTC
