Soheil spends a lot of time on his lectures. Very helpful.CS7800 2026-02-13 17:28:47 +0000 UTC
I took CS3000 with Soheil. I made it to most of his lectures, and they were pretty clear and helpful. For the ones I missed, I just watched the recordings. The homework assignments were a bit tough, but manageable. The exams were curved, which was nice.CS3000 2025-04-08 19:49:20 +0000 UTC
Took CS3000 with this professor. To be fair, all 4 professors just don't care about the students. There is a lot of homework and quizzes (weekly), 2 midterms, and a final. The recitation was the most helpful part of the entire course. The professor is confusing, his explanations are too fast-paced, and he is not understanding towards students.CS5800 2024-11-15 22:47:49 +0000 UTC
The logistics were the same for all 4 profs in algo. Soheil is great. He is hella fine so that helps with the long lecture (he records them all). Homework are weird but not impossible to get a good score. All exams have curves but that final was way outta pocket. Algo is already a hard subject but Soheil did the best job in his ability to teach it.CS3000 2024-12-16 13:30:02 +0000 UTC
Barely curves. Doesn't care enough to guide his students to succeed in his class.CS5800 2024-05-13 01:31:39 +0000 UTC
