Had her for advanced technical writing 4 years ago but still remember getting screwed by her. She suspected I plagiarized a paper (had no actual proof) so she failed the paper. I was able to bargain it up to a C+. This is the worst professor I have ever had. She is rude, insulting, and not helpful at all. She takes personal opinions on topics for class, and even went as far as indirectly calling a classmate 'Hitler'. If you get her as a professor, switch out, ASAP. A very odd and obscure woman. Tends to be moody and if she does not feel you are right she will tell you straight out. Grading is biased towards favourites, and very little feedback. This is by far one of the worst teachers I ever had. She didn't like me, so any questions I asked she found as "combative and argumenative." Your grade will be completely dependent on whether or not she likes you. I was one of 3 students to complete the 10 page rough draft, but I received a zero, not even a check minus. Oh...My...GOD! This woman is insane. She gives you due dates, changes them constantly, and has this urge to fight with the class ALL THE TIME. The book and reading is useless, but if you don't do it she will harp on you. Wears the same outfit EVERYDAY. Really stupid assignments too. Run. Ms. Murley is not very good at keeping the structure of the class. I personally disliked most of the essay we had to read (except the Creature Essay).
