She's very understanding and kind. I had a good experience with this class. As long as you stay on top of your work and make your deadlines it's easy. She gives great feedback on assignments, is always there to help and explain anything if you're confused, and makes class engaging. Highly recommended taking her classENGW3302 2025-12-06 08:37:34 +0000 UTC
Professor Clark is very rude and her feedback may bring you to tears but it is helpful. The class is very easy. Attendance is mandatory and graded along with participation. She over explains everything, she probably talks for more than 75% of the class. If the class was just based off of work you do you'd be in and out in 20 minutes.ENGW1111 2025-11-21 21:27:35 +0000 UTC
Very easy if you just do the HW and do the optional essay revisions before the final one is graded.ENGW3302 2025-04-23 16:40:12 +0000 UTC
The class is super easy as long as you do your work. There are 10 journals, 4 big essays and peer reviews. I know it might seem like a lot but the way she divides everything is great and you have enough time for everything. You can ask for 48 hour extension on every single essay. The only thing is she is very big on attendance. But she is amazing.ENGW1111 2025-01-06 21:40:26 +0000 UTC
Horrible teacher. The class itself is quite easy, but she is incredibly rude and unhelpful in feedback. The organization of the course is also terrible, requiring several different Canvas pages open to understand what is required for a single assignment.ENGW3302 2025-04-12 14:48:19 +0000 UTC
She is very kind and provide all information about the big essay very clearly, if you follow her instruction, it will be easy to get a good grade. Many assignments are allow to do it again if you are not satisfy with the grade and she will provide comments for big essay for you to make some change and then give you the final grade, a easy class.ENGW1111 2024-12-27 16:28:51 +0000 UTC
Dr. Clark, is a great teacher and the class is pretty straightforward. You have 4 major assignments and plenty of time to do them and get 2 day extension policy for all of them. Attendance is mandatory and part of your grade which is the only negative. If you do the work you will be fine.ENGW3302 2025-04-04 18:36:27 +0000 UTC
She is very passionate about her teaching. There is a lot of peer reviews and busy work. If you attend and complete all peer reviews, you are eligible for an extension for the major essays. Not a lot of reading. She is nice and helpful. Would recommend.ENGW1111 2024-06-18 16:21:03 +0000 UTC
This professor seemed caring during COVID but reported me for unprofessionalism right behind my back. This has caused me SEVERE mental trauma/stress that still haunts me. I would NEVER trust this professor and this has also undermined my trust in ALL of the professors . They do not care about you, they are only here to get paid.ENGW3302 2024-03-13 16:33:29 +0000 UTC
The class is extremely structured. The course is structured around a few papers which receive a lot of feedback allowing you to fix your work. My biggest advice is to complete your drafts fully to receive the most feedback possible. Complete your work according to the rubric and seek feedback through office hours to achieve an A.ENGW1111 2023-08-31 19:48:30 +0000 UTC
Makes what should be a relaxed class an unreasonable amount of work, assignments are often confusing and require you to have 5 different tabs open to try and piece together what you're supposed to be doing.ENGW3302 2022-11-07 03:56:22 +0000 UTC
Really nice professor, and is always clear with feedback, rubrics, and instructions on how to do well in her class. The class does have a fair bit of busy work, but it's manageable as long as you stay on top of it. Can be a bit rough on your participation grade if you get sick or have an emergency of some kind.ENGW1111 2022-12-20 02:45:47 +0000 UTC
There is a fair amount of busywork and there is a homework assignment that requires writing a few hundred words usually after every class, but it is all quite manageable. Her grading criteria is clear and it is not particularly difficult to achieve an A if you simply put in the minimum effort required. Dr. Clark is very accessible as well.ENGW1111 2022-11-28 21:08:59 +0000 UTC
Dr. Clark is super straightforward. Lenient deadlines, plenty of peer review, extremely minimal reading, responsive through email, abundantly clear rubrics, and very lenient grading. Ended up with an average very close to 100. There is more busy work than necessary but just showing a little effort generally gets you full credit.ENGW1111 2022-05-02 17:25:55 +0000 UTC
Comments on essays are often short and give no personal feedback other than something along the lines of 'refer to original document.' Allows "freedom" of choice for essay topics but is actually really looking for something very specific and constantly shoots down ideas.ENGW1111 2022-05-02 02:01:41 +0000 UTC
