Dr. V definitely cares for her students wants us to learn, and has a nice grading policy (as long as you do the work - you'll get an A). She also gave us plenty of flex time to use on assignments. All you have to do is show up on time and submit the work. There isn't much work at all and when there was work you didn't need to spend more than an hour on it. She seemed to be against university as a system of learning which is strange as a yk... university professor? Easy class, she grades based on completion so as long as you show up and submit assignments on time, you're good. Some of her assignments were a bit annoying and discussions were repetitive. Dr. V is a pretty good English teacher. She does give a ton of feedback, and we have a ton of time in class to work on our papers. While the class is only graded off of three papers, we do spend a lot of time working on them, so it isn't too terrible. We got over HALFWAY through the semester without a single grade. She never put grades in Canvas so you have no idea what your grade is. Instead, she just sent us an email 3/4 of the way through the semester giving us a rough range of what our grade is. The class is graded based on only 3 papers.
