The format of the class is very clear with well defined lectures, labs, homework, and other assignments. There is a huge availability of resources and a lot of help available including Piazza and office hours. The professor is extremely reasonable and accessible, and if you do the work assigned without the use of ChatGPT, you will do well.CS5004 2024-12-16 09:56:13 +0000 UTC
Tamara inspired the class to think about issues associated with Data Science, AI, and ML. We read a lot of papers and were also asked to find papers relevant to the domain on our own. As an MS student who was taking an advanced-level course, this was the course that gave me a clear-cut idea of what I should be pursuing in the future.CS7290 2024-01-06 22:11:24 +0000 UTC
This professor's professional abilities are sorely lacking. Teaching style is confusing, material remains unclear. Availability is virtually nonexistent, feedback is a rare sighting, and rudeness seems to be their forte. To top it off, even emails go unanswered. Overall, not a stellar educational experience.CS6410 2023-12-23 03:41:21 +0000 UTC
do not take her classCS5004 2024-12-05 21:16:22 +0000 UTC
I thought this was a great class. Will thoroughly prepare you to improve your coding design skills.CS5004 2024-08-12 20:54:01 +0000 UTC
Professor Bonaci's ability to fluently explain why she is doing something in the code speaks volumes to her knowledge in computer science and object oriented design. You can also tell she genuinely cares deeply about your learning experience and will help you if you're struggling. I recommend taking any of Professor Bonaci's courses if you can!CS5004 2024-08-12 20:04:12 +0000 UTC
Professor Bonaci is well versed in the topic of OOD and makes each and every lecture interesting and full of helpful information to help students also become knowledgeable about OOD principles. She makes sure that every student is prepared to succeed, given that they put in the work and shows a respectable amount of effort on each assignment.CS5004 2024-08-12 03:30:41 +0000 UTC
Professor Bonaci is the best professor, she cares about her students and would love to address problems for students. She gives us a clear explanation of the conceptual ideas and gives us examples to demonstrate the concepts. Her homework is well-designed for practicing the conceptions we learned in class.CS5004 2024-08-05 21:56:46 +0000 UTC
Professor Bonaci goes above and beyond to produce a great learning experience. She organizes her lectures in a way that allows for review of the material as well as introducing new content. Professor also takes time to ask for feedback and designs her assignments in a very thoughtful way. Highly recommend taking this course with Professor Bonaci!CS5004 2024-08-05 21:50:13 +0000 UTC
Not a great professor at all.CS5004 2023-08-16 17:21:32 +0000 UTC
The professor doesn't understand OOD concepts and is a terrible teacher. She barely uploads course materials on time, and she seldom walks codes but just reads the slides during lecture time. She made the course unnecessarily confusing. You might ask a simple question, and she will give you an answer as if you're doing brain surgery. DO NOT TAKE!CS5004 2021-09-26 23:52:33 +0000 UTC
