She was very helpful.HIST101 2011-08-14 21:27:50 +0000 UTC
I thought the class was good. Best discussion based class I have ever taken. Lectures tend to confuse and the reading is excessive ... but overall it's worthwhile. Just participate, don't worry about doing the reading and show up. It's easy.INTROTOEURO 2006-06-19 16:17:08 +0000 UTC
disorganized, unclear, and her thoughts run off on every little tangent. It feels like you're being pressured into class participation, so if you're not vocal, you're screwed. I learned nothing from her lecturesHIS130 2006-03-14 17:46:58 +0000 UTC

Ok, her class is difficult. Why is this such a problem? The large amount of homework is not assigned as punishment; it is used to supplement everything she teaches in class. People need to stop corresponding difficulty with poor teaching. Prof. Trimmer wants us to learn as much as possible.HISTORY 2005-03-31 20:06:00 +0000 UTC
Her class sucks. Don't take it under any circumstance. She gives you very little time to prepare for research papers and the work is WAY TOO MUCH. Avoid, for your own good.HSTU130 2005-03-15 20:33:08 +0000 UTC
Tiffany Trimmer seems nice and knowledgeable, although her class is boring. I find myself reading the book for entertainment after I have signed the attendance sheet. The reading is EXCESSIVE with often over 200 pages of reading a week. I would avoid her class at all cost.INTROTOAMHIST 2005-03-14 01:10:01 +0000 UTC
Too much of the grade depended on "class participation", even though she never learned all of our names. Do not take this class unless you want to speak up alot. She does a poor job of keeping students' attention, but she seemed to know the information.INTROEUROHIS 2005-01-05 13:07:02 +0000 UTC
Her grading system needs work, and sometimes has trouble keeping students interested. However, she is extremely respectful, responsible, and competent in her knowledge. She is a grad student through and through. I feel like i've learned to look at history in a different way because of her.INTROWORLDHIST 2004-12-22 06:15:01 +0000 UTC
The hardest aspect of this class was the reading - it was excessive. I felt like I could have gotten along without reading EVERYTHING. Read the weekly primary documents, these are important. Your grade DEPENDS on class participation, so be vocal. Make use of her availability to revise papers.INTROTOEURO 2005-04-04 14:11:10 +0000 UTC
Trimmer is extremely disorganized and can't really complete a thought without going off on a separate issue. Any visual learners who have her are screwed, she just talks at you, so if you can't remember what you hear, good luck.INTROTOEURO 2005-03-28 16:44:09 +0000 UTC
This woman is not good. Her clarity needs alot of work. She can't organize class to save her life and her grading system is downright ugly. Luckily, it's not the hardest class, but if you have her, get a transfer ASAP. just save yourself the headache early on.INTROTOEURO 2005-01-04 13:03:23 +0000 UTC
