Prof. Witte is the best accounting 1201 professor to take. I entered the class with absolutely 0 knowledge on accounting, and I learned so much from her classes. The practice is very similar to the actual tests, so just do those a lot. She genuinely cares for her students and explains things well. I was so-so on accounting and whether or not to continue, but this class solidified it for me. Annie is the best professor I've had and it was the first class in a while that made me work hard but also prepared me. She is super smart while being able to simplify things. Annie is a really good professor and her class actually made me add accounting as my second concentration. Her quizzes were really a grade booster and her tests were really doable because of the practice materials she gave. Her lectures are really good and she doesn't just read off the slides. An amazing professor who loves her students; however, her teaching style is not my type, which I believe made the course incredibly harder (examples are all online, wishing it was more hands-on). It's an intermediate accounting class so it's not designed to be easy, but you can manage it if you keep up with the reading. It's easier to ask questions in class and go to Annie's office hours if you need help, she is really nice and happy to talk through even basic stuff if you need it. Very caring and considerate about her students. I normally don't give ratings for professors if they are good but she's so tuff I had to. We submitted our final project late all to our own fault and she didn't take of any points. Annie is genuinely an amazing and goofy professor. Her lectures are super helpful as long as you study and pay attention. All of her tests are in person, but it really forces you to know the material in a good way. She really does care about her students and tries to help everyone get a good grade in the class. She is nice and class is fine but she is the only professor I have ever known to not always give full credit for a discussion post. There are lots of discussions and she will mark you very low if you don't 'expand on a peer's answer' which is quite odd.
