Easy A, the hardest part is sitting through class. He's a chill guy but just talks SO much. I somehow made it to every single class and we usually got out early, he's a caring and good guy, but doesn't know his audience. Must but Mcgraw hill. Almost all serious due dates were flexible. Final exam study guide didn't really help.ACCT2301 2025-12-17 17:43:59 +0000 UTC
Professor Glencross truly loves accounting and cares about his students. He tells you what to study to help prepare for exams, is pretty understanding, and is available outside of class. The cons are that his class sometimes lacks engagement, and he doesn't provide many extra resources/practice questions other than the textbook and slides.ACCT1201 2025-08-17 23:55:50 +0000 UTC
His lectures are boring at times, and he does talk about his personal life stories a lot. His class isn't difficult if you put in some slight work though, and he's an extremely fair grader who really does want to help his students out.ACC3202 2024-04-24 20:18:26 +0000 UTC
ACCT 6200 - He's just great. I want to retake his class just for the stories about Sylvania, GE, and his current AP consulting project - hilarious. Do the HW.. He's extremely reasonable and he wants his students to succeed in understanding the way financial statements flow - he's not interested in making you memorize useless accounting jargon.ACC4320 2022-05-15 21:52:15 +0000 UTC
The guy is super outdated in every aspect in his life. Incredibly boring and inapplicable, goes on about the same stories from his life over and over again. Homework is alright, but will not curve any grades. We had a 60% mean for an exam and he just does not care if it is hard or not.ACC4103 2021-12-05 01:35:59 +0000 UTC
Because, He explains the topic with the examples which is easily understandable and also he is very much friendlyGMGT5100B 2016-10-06 19:54:27 +0000 UTC
super easy class but such a boring professor. if you can drag yourself out of bed and sit through his life stories to get the attendance points, it's the easiest accounting class you'll ever take. beware that all assignments are on mcgraw hill, so you'll need to pay for that. but otherwise such an easy classACCT2301 2025-12-11 20:24:14 +0000 UTC
He is a very nice guy but his lectures don't really help with exams. For quizzes he does let you know what's going to be on it which is helpful. The average for the last quiz was so bad that he had to drop it the average was around 40%. Overall, he is a nice guy but not a good professor.ACCT1201 2025-05-21 18:06:48 +0000 UTC
Super easy grader, but he has no idea what he's talking about. Drones on and on about his work experience, which is almost entirely unrelated to the subject matter.ACC3202 2015-10-28 19:22:55 +0000 UTC
Nice guy but assigns A TON of work.ACC4320 2020-02-16 16:30:40 +0000 UTC
Really nice guy but he spends entire class telling stories of his experiences. Long winded stories that are somewhat relevant only because he was an accountant. Heavy use of power point, each slide he would tell a story. I had to do a lot of learning on my own because we couldn't get to relevant material. Not necessarily a tough teacher thoughACC4103 2017-06-15 14:53:18 +0000 UTC
The practice tests and study guides helped a lot. Got sick once, emailed him about it, he ignored it, and dropped my attendance grade even though I literally couldn't get out of bed. Honestly talks more about his life than accounting. I basically know his whole life story that I didn't ask for, because he tends to ramble a lot during classes.ACCT2301 2025-08-22 01:37:58 +0000 UTC
Professor Glencross is passionate about accounting and loves to talk about his work experience/life advice. Weekly assignments and group project are easy good grades. He tells you questions on every exam (including final), but lots of the material is self taught and many test questions are not straight forward. Lots of work put in outside class.ACCT1201 2025-04-28 22:10:35 +0000 UTC
took cost accounting with Mr. Glencross. he relies on power point a lot, but did an overall fair job compared to others at NEU who use power-point as a brain substitute. you can tell he enjoys teaching and is not just coming to class to earn his tenure. if he lectured he'd have been that much better because i think he really knows his stuff.ACC4103 2008-02-25 23:30:35 +0000 UTC
He was a super chill professor and was pretty flexible when things came up for students. He moved a midterm and was super accommodating for students that had already made plans. His lectures felt a little long sometimes, but he's a nice guy and I learned a lot in his class.ACCT2301 2025-08-16 17:16:42 +0000 UTC
