Chill guy. Talks a lot about his own life experiences. The content is easy. Weekly assignments along with three tests. Recommend taking this over the summer as the materials are super digestible. This guy is extremely difficult, if you have the option to avoid his class, I would. He spends most of his time discussing his history with general electric and osramslovania along with his kids accomplishments. ACCT 6200 - He's just great. I want to retake his class just for the stories about Sylvania, GE, and his current AP consulting project - hilarious. Do the HW.. The guy is super outdated in every aspect in his life. Incredibly boring and inapplicable, goes on about the same stories from his life over and over again. Super easy class. Provides comprehensive reviews of the topics/problems that will be presented on each exam. Only 2 exams and a noncomprehensive final. One group case study that he gives more than enough time for. Worst part is sitting through boring lectures and rants every class. HW due every week. Professor Glencross truly loves accounting and cares about his students. He tells you what to study to help prepare for exams, is pretty understanding, and is available outside of class. Really nice guy but he spends entire class telling stories of his experiences. Long winded stories that are somewhat relevant only because he was an accountant. Heavy use of power point, each slide he would tell a story. I had to do a lot of learning on my own because we couldn't get to relevant material. He is a very nice guy but his lectures don't really help with exams. For quizzes he does let you know what's going to be on it which is helpful. took cost accounting with Mr. Glencross. he relies on power point a lot, but did an overall fair job compared to others at NEU who use power-point as a brain substitute. you can tell he enjoys teaching and is not just coming to class to earn his tenure. if he lectured he'd have been that much better because i think he really knows his stuff.ACC4103 2008-02-25 23:30:35 +0000 UTC
I wish I could take an exam on his life because he talks about it for 80% of the class time. Very picky about how he wants things done, specifically with the Excel assignments.
