Really funny guy, loves to crack jokes. I looked forward to his class. Would highly recommend. Do read the textbook chapters before he goes over them in class. Tests were pretty easy and the homeworks had unlimited attempts. Still have to put in some effort in the class, but workload wasn't bad for such a challenging class.ACCT1201 2025-12-11 05:21:54 +0000 UTC
He's a solid professor with an excellent background in accounting. He knows managerial can be tedious, but he made the class enjoyable with his fun accounting and off-topic stories. He's super reliable and has so many opportunities for office hours, and if you're scared about what's on the tests, just ask him. He's super transparent about it.ACCT2301 2023-12-25 06:41:12 +0000 UTC
Tony is an awesome straight forward professor. Although the lectures can get too long sometimes, all important aspects get covered in class. His final exam is relatively tougher and a little tight on the time. Nevertheless, he is available to answer any questions whether it relates to class or the accounting profession in general.ACC4410 2020-06-18 21:21:12 +0000 UTC
Classes were lecture-style w/ him reading from a slide show, and the following class, he would walk the class through practice problems from the textbook. He does cold calling. Overall, very kind & caring professor. Very helpful during office hours. He also told us what exact topics were on the exams & 3 quizzes were online. Def recommend him!ACCT1201 2025-11-23 19:02:26 +0000 UTC
Tony is one of the kindest professors I have had. He always made time to meet after class and answered emails QUICKLY. I found the tests to be difficult, but he told us exactly what it would cover and was very fair. Participation isn't mandatory, but he will have favorites and they are the ones who participate and joke around with him.ACCT2301 2023-12-23 06:12:52 +0000 UTC
Amazing accounting professor. ACCT 1201 is a lot of work and memorizing rules, but Tony makes learning enjoyable. Unlimited homework attempts. Tony often tells some good personal stories that relate to the topic we are going over. Lots of work you have to do on your own when it comes to the readings and homework. Best accounting professor out thereACCT1201 2025-06-23 16:51:58 +0000 UTC
Tony is a good professor. Overall, the course was fairly easy up until the final. The final was next to impossible. However, I feel like he is the lesser of the evils when it comes to the managerial accounting profs.ACCT2301 2023-12-13 20:46:55 +0000 UTC
Super laid back and chill guy. Has really good experience as he was a CPA for like 30 years. The lectures got a bit boring at times but he always engaged the class and made us laugh. Most the the accounting department is regulated grade wise, and Tony does a great job preparing you for the final.ACCT1201 2025-05-11 18:50:32 +0000 UTC
Best ACCT Prof . He's not as strict as the other professors but show up to his classes, they might be boring, but he tries to make it fun by telling his stories and getting the class engaged. Doesn't show the total grade on canvas but it can be easily calculated. Unlimited attempts on the homework, one midterm, one paper final, and group project.ACCT1201 2024-12-27 03:08:46 +0000 UTC
I love this professor, but the course itself is a lot of work. You'll have to be very proactive about asking questions and attending his office hours for guidance.ACCT1201 2024-11-21 16:51:08 +0000 UTC
Great professor, best I've had so far in terms of explaining the subject. The lectures were very engaging, and he did not hesitate to answer questions.ACCT1201 2023-02-16 19:17:57 +0000 UTC
Solid professor who does try his best to teach students whatever he can. Attendance is not mandatory and students are expected to read the textbook and class time is used to go over problems. Lectures can drag on to be a bit too long. Definitely an old fashioned guy who can make an odd comment or two as well.ACCT1201 2022-11-18 01:02:26 +0000 UTC
Tony is the best professor I've ever had.ACCT1201 2022-04-21 15:26:04 +0000 UTC
Tony has years of experience as a CPA and is very knowledgable in the subject, but he often goes on tangents about his dislike of the use of gender neutral pronouns and shifts the conversation from accounting to politics and commentary on the challenges of being a man. He makes some uncomfortable, but he conveys the subject of accounting well.ACCT1201 2022-03-09 13:17:05 +0000 UTC
The subject is hard. However, if you have a good teacher that can teach and helps you'll be fine. Tony is none of this. His whole class is him cold calling people to answer questions answer at the board. It's like he expects you to know the entire chapter before his class. There's no worksheets to help and you'll probably teach yourself everything!ACCT1201 2021-12-09 03:43:26 +0000 UTC
