Homework assignments were all long, but doable. If you pay attention in class and do the hw then the tests are easy. Doesn't provide extra credit, but is available for office hours. Fundamentals of Info Analytics with Professor Lee/Sah 1) kind and lectures are interesting 2) Tough grader- for many of the assignments the questions are randomly assigned points (usually not that many questions so they're each worth a good amount- mess up one/two/three could get -15) important because hw is 30% (worth the most- more than final)MISM2510 2021-05-01 00:33:14 +0000 UTC

Carol Lee is a great professor! As someone who didn't take Stats in high school she made it really easy to understand.There are no quizzes but there is a final group project at the end of the semester which she gives you plenty of time to do. Professor Lee is one of the most caring and underrated professors at NEU. She never wants to overwork her students, gave us breaks during class, and even snacks after exams. She had three equally weighted exams which were not bad if you did the homework. Carol is nice, but seems a bit under qualified, struggling to answer questions in class. Textbook reading is useless as she just recites the readings during class, which can get monotone and sleep-inducing.
