Charlie is by far the best professor I've ever had. Yes, you have to work hard, but the most incredible thing about him is that he cares SO much about his students. If you take the time to see him in office hours when you're having trouble, it will be well worth your time. 10/10 recommend if you want to get what you're paying for out of this schoolACCT4502 2019-04-17 15:01:28 +0000 UTC
I loved charlie's class! He genuinely cares about all of his students and really wants you to do well. He will call on you randomly, so make sure you pay attention during class. If you try your best you will be sure to do well.ACCT4501 2018-09-12 15:58:41 +0000 UTC
Entertaining guy who will keep you awake. But not good at teaching the concepts and formulas you'll need to do all the analysis he wants. Lectures are scattered and confusing. You will spend a lot of time trying to learn from the textbook. Takes a long time to grade so you won't know where you stand. Not very receptive to questions.ACCT6200 2015-03-31 15:10:52 +0000 UTC
Best professor to take for learning presentation skills, doesn't focus too much on accounting but more on the business side of the profession. Helped me a lot in terms of public speaking.ACCT1201 2014-11-09 15:50:53 +0000 UTC
Took him for the required introductory Financial Accounting class 3 years back. Granted, I don't like the subject, but he is full of himself, a very hard grader in terms of exams, group projects are extremely time consuming and if you take him on a Monday and classes are off for holidays, he holds class on Fridays to make up the material.ACC201 2012-04-21 13:55:04 +0000 UTC
Great guy, audit is hard. Stay focused and work hard. He's awesome cuz you can ask him just about anythingggg. Highly recommended, but don't expect to get an AACC504 2010-05-12 11:45:44 +0000 UTC
Wow audit is a hard class. One advice: start your project early. It's complete hell because it's not a group project. Hard exams. Great guy, very knowledgeable. work hard.ACC4412 2010-04-17 12:49:13 +0000 UTC
Great Professor. Keeps you entertained during class. I wasn't the best at Accounting in undergrad but he does a good job of explaining the material. You wont be disappointed.ACC200 2009-04-23 13:01:45 +0000 UTC
Great guy, great teacherACCTU412 2009-01-29 16:37:51 +0000 UTC
If you aren't interested in Audit and/or the class isn't required, don't take it. Exams are very very difficult, you are basically studying for the CPA exam. He is full of himself. No homework, No attendence required, but AWFUL exams and an AWFUL project. You will be stressing out a lot if you take this class.AUDITACCT 2008-09-14 23:42:48 +0000 UTC
One of the best teachers that I have had at NU. You learn so much just by attending his interesting lectures. He has a wealth of knowledge and is a great resource. The tests may have alot to study, but is not impossible. Wonderful person, Amazing professor!AUDIT414 2008-05-07 21:39:57 +0000 UTC
The class was a lot of work, but in the end you learn a lot. This is the way college courses should be run. Mid-term, final and a project. He wont hold your hand so you have to go out and learn on your own. I learned a lot about audit while doing the final project and have learned that I like tax alot more. All in all I think he is a great prof.AUDITASSU 2008-03-31 14:09:32 +0000 UTC
Terrible. Mid-term and Final require lots of studying, and even then you still might fail. One major project, which requires a lot of time and a big presentation. He is a terrible teacher. Not a lot of homework though.ACCU412 2008-02-01 10:54:25 +0000 UTC
Amazing professor! Am absolutely planning on taking his other classes, classes are fun. However, be aware of him randomly calling on you in class. Really cares about his students, and genuinely wants you to do wellACCT4501 2018-04-30 17:36:06 +0000 UTC
It's a shame university professors treat their students this way. If you have dreams, this guy will crush them.ACCT6200 2015-03-18 19:40:54 +0000 UTC
