Charn is literally the best professor I've had in my now 6 years of college. He's an incredible mentor, and he cares about your learning and development more than your grade or his pay. Prof McAllister is a really genuine and fun guy. Lectures were interesting and he always asked for student feedback so he could tailor it to what we actually wanted to do/topics we were more interested in. Exceptional professor who comes to class ready to teach and engages the class in great discussions. Knowledgable and friendly, he is approachable and dedicated. The class is not too hard, and the fact that it is very interesting almost makes it easier. Charn is a great guy and one of the best profs I have had at Nau. He cares for his students and makes sure all of the work is necessary and teaches a good lesson. there aren't tests but some reading quizzes. 100% recommend taking this class with him!MGT475 2020-11-11 21:44:50 +0000 UTC
Charn is probably the best professor I've had at Northeastern. From day one you can tell he cares about his students and works to make learning as enjoyable as possible. He connects well with his class and lectures can be pretty informal. Instead of textbooks you read actual books about management and philosophy. Professor McAllister is an awesome professor. There are readings each week with a reading quiz, but the quiz is not hard and the readings are great (and usually short). All the assignments are due at the end of the semester, so you just have to get on them early, but they are creative assignments and are not hard to do. One of my favorite teachers ever! Very project focused and he does not do a lesson if he does not think it is valuable for his students. He gets cool guest speakers (EVEN DURING COVID) and has amazing personal leadership examples that he follows through with in how he teaches.
