Selland is truly a great guy with deep, real world experience. He's passionate about innovation and knows what he's talking about. The lectures are a bit long but very informative. I took corporate innovation INNO4504 and he was truly the kindest, most caring, really wants his students to succeed kind of professor. He did lots of good group discussions, assignments were very reasonable and easy to do well on, and he was a CEO so he actually knows a ton of real world stuff. Very nice, just super long and arduous lectures. Would have enjoyed more real world or practical assessments instead of taking tests. For an innovation class the format was not very innovative or creative. Chris is an amazing professor who's very down to earth, genuinely wanting the best for all of his students. One of the most understanding professors I've ever taken who wants to know everyone. Professor Selland was my favorite professor this semester. Uses an online coursepack from HBS with plenty of useful resources, including the case studies that the quizzes focus on. Professor Selland is a great teacher and person, and cares about everyone in the class and makes an effort to get to know everyone. He is also very knowledgeable on the content as he has plenty of background and success in the business world.
