Good prof, during in-class time. Very difficult to reach outside of class. Never responds to emails, even if it's an emergency and you need to schedule a time for alternative office hours. I love Professor Horn. She's one of those women that shows you what an authentic life is like. She has so much experience in humanitarianism, international affairs and women's issues. This class requires a lot of readings for pop quizzes and a lot of busy work. She doesn't upload any notes anywhere so if you miss one day or you are not good at taking notes then this is not the class for you. She rarely ever teaches her own class, although the guest lecturers are often interesting.
