Dr. Rozmarin provides an exceptional historical background for Peace & Conflict, as well as the theories of international relations. Dr. Rozmarin's knowledge of Eastern Europe and Russia was my favorite aspect of his class. I highly recommend this course as long as you are committed to the readings.GST6320 2017-12-31 11:01:48 +0000 UTC
Political Philosophy with Professor Rozmarin was a very interesting and enlightening class. I was initially very nervous to take a philosophy class as it was my first philosophy class ever, but I was pleasantly surprised to find how interesting every topic we covered was, and how by the end of the semester I had learned so much.6000 2014-12-30 11:22:42 +0000 UTC
Simply put, Leon was (in my experience) the best professor at Northeaster'n CPS Global Studies program. If you're taking his class in the hopes that you will get an easy A and be able to just listen yourself and other students talk the whole time you might be disillusioned with him.GST6100 2018-12-22 04:58:26 +0000 UTC
Excellent professor, very knowledgeable and provides a unique perspective on Peace and Conflict. Requires weekly work but worth the time. Great discussions.GST6320 2017-05-13 22:36:12 +0000 UTC
He was a great lecturerGST6100 2018-10-18 19:15:58 +0000 UTC
Taken two classes with Leon. He knows his stuff and his credentials are outstanding. He is somewhat 'traditional' in his teaching style in that he actually lectures and doesn't let the class turn into a self-centered group therapy session unlike many professors these days. Do the reading and turn things in relatively on time and you'll get an A.GST6100 2018-04-28 22:25:15 +0000 UTC
Professor Leon is very informative and assigns extremely relevant and profound readings. The overall experience is highly inspirational and allows you to learn in a very prolific manner. The class allows you to debate openly and share your perspective. If you take interest and participate timely, there is a very high possibility of an A!GST6100 2017-12-31 14:12:35 +0000 UTC
Professor Rozmarin delivers compelling lectures. Always gives concise and extended feedback. He acknowledges hard work and dedication. I would definitely take another course with him.GST6100 2017-12-31 07:09:43 +0000 UTC
Professor Rozmarin is a fantastic lecturer. He is brilliant and makes you think about concepts from multiple perspectives; very passionate about his teaching. Lectures are based on discussions, and the grading criteria are clearly stated. If you do all the required readings and follow all the requirements, you will do great in this course.GST6100 2017-12-22 12:41:33 +0000 UTC
I don't think Professor Rozmarin is a good professor at all. He is extremely knowledgeable, but as a result of that he doesn't seem to prepare any lesson plans. He just starts the class with "So, who has any comments about the readings?" and then talks at us for 2 hours based on what students say/ask, while also going off on a lot of tangents.GST6100 2017-08-23 11:48:14 +0000 UTC
Really great professor--Get ready to read, as you need to do the readings to be able to participate in the class. Without doing the reading, he painfully pulls it out of people--it's SO much easier to do the reading to talk! He has really great conversations!GST6100 2015-10-31 12:18:06 +0000 UTC
Professor Rozmarin is great! It's a goon intro to Global Studies and International Relations. I really enjoyed being in his class and having great class discussions. He does do the occasional pop quiz, so be sure to do the readings.GST6100 2015-07-29 15:11:50 +0000 UTC
Whether it is because of his teaching style, or knowledge of the subject, or personal excitement for the topic, prof. Rozmarin succeeds in awaking students' interest & kindling their enthusiasm beyond that expected in the course. Plus, he is skillful not only in the task of teaching, but also in engaging in constructive discussions with students.GST6100 2013-09-30 12:21:40 +0000 UTC
