The textbook selection was good and the lessons were valuable, but reading the textbook yourself would be good enough. Professor's accent was hard to understand at times. He gave the impression that deadlines were flexible and wasn't clear about deadlines. Did not receive feedback on papers, refused to grade submissions by the time grades were due.GST6101 2023-04-13 20:05:51 +0000 UTC
Teaching style is extremely p underwhelming. Learned nothing new. No different than doing your own research. Class was a waste of money.GST6100 2021-12-20 06:18:13 +0000 UTC
Prof. Lwin is very kind and caring, especially with students who have an MH diagnosis such as anxiety. Be prepared to not get grades back though - I have received a grade on my first two weeks of work, my short answer quiz, and my group proposal.GST6101 2021-08-31 01:07:36 +0000 UTC
The syllabus clearly defines expectations and course objectives. Professor Lwin's comments on discussions and proposals are opaque, and it isn't easy to understand his preferences. His grading seems to be subjective. I didn't love this course because I didn't enjoy the subject, but the professor was informative and passionate about the content.GST6100 2021-09-07 14:49:21 +0000 UTC
Tun is difficult to understand, often speaks too quietly, and does not deliver material in a focused manner. He took well over a week to respond to my emails. He gave little and inconsistent feedback, and did not grade weekly assignments, thus the class was in the dark about their final grade throughout the quarter. Nice man, notsogreat educator.GST6101 2018-04-06 15:01:42 +0000 UTC
Professor Tun puts together a good online course that is really comprehensive. There is a lot of reading, but the instructions are very clear. He also responded to my emails quickly.GST6100 2020-07-01 19:13:25 +0000 UTC
Tun can be difficult to understand sometimes. While the syllabus was clear, his explanation of tasks were not always clear. Moderate-heavy amounts of reading with lengthy weekly posts. 1 paper due during term, along with TermPaper Proposal. 1 final paper. Very educated & knows what he is talking about. Always is trying to make you understand deeperGST6101 2017-11-13 16:49:09 +0000 UTC
Takes FOREVER to get grades back to you so you don't actually know how you're doing in the class. Takes extra long to e-mail you back, if he does at all. With the semester nearly over he has graded about 3 assignments we've had, though so far we've taken 2 quizzes, submitted term proposals, & completed 10 discussions.GST6101 2015-12-02 11:05:41 +0000 UTC
