Dennis is awesome. He's just a chill guy who likes to make things. The class is only based on 3 projects. He has a lot of knowledge and experience and shares it. He explains things clearly & concisely. If you ask he'll answer. His energy is like a grill dad or the type of guy who would stop and help fix your car on the side of the road. I've witnessed 4 years worth of Dennis teaching Form and Structure, he brings such an immense passion for design to his students and is pretty much single-handedly holding up the design program at CAMD. I really enjoyed form and structure w him. he is super passionate. i asked him a million questions and he was always really helpful. only thing i didn't like is that he is very strict with being on time and attendance. like makes u sign in every day and if you are late he docks points. as long as you communicate with him though it is usually okay.ARTF-1124 2023-11-13 14:52:48 +0000 UTC

Loved this class with all my heart and its way into summer 2 and I still think about this class. I loved this class. I took it over the summer, and we had unlimited access to the makerspace. Dennis was so kind and cared about everyone's project. Got to make some really cool things that I will have forever. If you follow his rubric on assignments you will get 100s. Dennis was a fantastic professor. I had him for Form and Structure and his feedback was super helpful. There were four projects throughout the course all of which were very open ended. Dennis is one of my favorite professors ever. He is kind, smart, helpful, and gives amazing feedback towards whatever it may be you're working on, in a very open-ended class. I had Dennis for Form and Structure over Summer 1 last year and he is probably the best professor I've had at NU. He always makes time to check on your work and gives amazing feedback that really inspires you to take your projects to the next level.
