I took negotiations with him and LOVED him. His lectures are super entertaining, most classes you get paired up and get to do a real negotiation. I learned so so so much, class wasn't too hard at all, and he's so so nice. Highly recommend this class with him!MGMT3302 2025-12-10 18:25:36 +0000 UTC
This is the best professor for the best class I have had the pleasure of attending. Professor Wertheim actually pulls off the amazing feat of making class useful, worthwhile, and fun. There's a lot of writing, but it's interesting. Take this class. You will learn more, and have more fun, than any other class you have taken. By far.MGTG214 2009-02-18 15:51:09 +0000 UTC
Excellent, most fun I have had in any class. Amazingly made me happy to wake up at 8:00 on Saturdays. If going into anything related with sales, it is a must!!MGT214 2007-09-24 12:56:01 +0000 UTC
Great professor, takes a while to get used to him, but I learned so muchORGANZTNLBHAVI 2006-05-06 15:43:40 +0000 UTC
made 3 1/2 hours of class twice a week slightly less suicide worthy. Slightly hard grader...ORGBEHAVIOR 2005-08-30 16:53:32 +0000 UTC
Heavy workload but at the end it pays off. I learned a lot.HRMU401 2005-06-01 07:57:05 +0000 UTC
I took Professor Wertheim's negotiation class in the Fall of 2023 and still use the skills I developed almost two years later. Professor Wertheim is an incredibly caring and supportive man that is very knowledgable in his field. I urge everyone to experience at least one of his classes if you have the opportunity to do so. You will not regret it.MGMT3302 2025-04-13 20:00:13 +0000 UTC
Fantastic professor, Negotiation is probably the best course I've taken in my entire collegiate career. Really made learning the course hands on and a 4 hour class in the middle of August fly by. He has a dry sense of humor and will poke fun at you if you deserve it, but always light-heartedly. Everyone should take this course with this guy.MGT214 2007-09-07 15:53:14 +0000 UTC
Prof. uses what he claims to be the "socratic method," but actually tends to mislead students with his questions.HRMU401 2005-01-13 08:28:48 +0000 UTC
Professor Wertheim is one of the most well-respected professors at Northeastern! The class consists of weekly negotiation sessions, as well as a few assignments and open-book quizzes. I learned so much from this class and I will be sure to apply it into future negotiations. I wish he taught more courses, as I would sign up immediately!MGMT3302 2024-12-16 23:36:05 +0000 UTC
fun lecture + wholesome professor, you learn a lot of negotiation skills, weekly negotiation sessions with peersMGMT3302 2023-12-19 07:12:18 +0000 UTC
Without a doubt one of my favorite professors at NU. His lectures are practically stand up comedy sets and its even better if you have a class group that is just as involved. Just really try to do your best because your negotiation skills at the end of the day are dependent on your own effort in class/with work - make it worthwhile!!MGMT3302 2023-09-14 20:27:31 +0000 UTC
My favorite professor at NU and my most memorable class. He is hilarious and makes class interesting. You negotiate every class but so worth it. Average homework is around 2hrs/week. Please take him if you can! If you try and apply what you learn in class, you'll do good.MGMT3302 2023-04-13 18:33:32 +0000 UTC
Best professor and best class taken at Northeastern. Average hw is about 1.5hrs/week, and the quiz is open notes. If you do what he asks, and reflect, you'll be fine. Extremely interactive class, negotiating every week. You learn a lot.MGMT3302 2023-01-27 17:34:33 +0000 UTC
Wertheim is the best professor I have ever had hands-down. He cares so much about his students and puts SO much time into giving feedback to each and every person. Class was SO valuable, fun and I learned so much. I left this class feeling so much more able and confident. Would recommend and retake any day of my life.MGMT3302 2021-04-13 15:59:39 +0000 UTC
