Honestly the professor is not that bad the only reason he's getting a 1 star is because he is not consistent with his tests. The first exam was 90% the same as the study guide. So you would assume that's the best way to study. Nope the next two exams are completely different and doesn't match his teaching style. Lectures wise were not that great for me. He's ok with grading and he rounded my final grade up after I asked. I would say definitely a good professor to talk to, especially if you are into SC as a career. Be active and ask him for clarifications on assignments and you will be fine (above B). Prof Enio is a nice guy but structures his class like it's the only class you'll be taking that semester. Group projects are intensely difficult with untold strict guidelines and bad group mates, & he does nothing to remedy how lost everyone in the class is. Genuinely evil professor, not in the way he interacts with students (he's a nice dude), but straight up just how he grades. Long assignments, terrible group projects esp if you have bad groupmates, and he's really unclear with every guideline. He's a tough grader, doesn't give enough guidance on what he wants. For the group project (50% of our grade), not all expectations were spelled out in the syllabus. Professor Velazco is a great professor and a really nice guy. He moves through lectures quickly but uses good examples that the class reviews together. he's honestly the best prf I've had. he's funny, caring, and witty. material was engaging, and even though he's a tough grader, if you stay on top of the work and put effort into it, he's way more understanding. Lectures were helpful, but his tests and projects just seemed wasteful. He doesn't go into depth with concepts past what the presentations say, which had useless information that never got brought up again. He wasn't helpful outside of class, and his feedback is awful. Prof Velazco is a super nice guy and is very passionate and knowledgeable about supply chain. His lectures aren't super helpful, and he just repeats the textbook material, so if you need good lectures, this class might not be for you. no final in the class, just three exams throughout the semester. He is a very interesting professor with lots of cool stories and engaging lectures. He is passionate about supply chain and makes his students intrigued as well. There is a lot of work and tests are not easy. There is lots of textbook HW, multiple written assignments, 3 tests, and a project. I really like him regardless of how others may feel. He is strict but wake up people, it's an upper level college class in a tough major, it's not supposed to be a breeze. His class is a great refresher from my other classes that are just Exam 1 + Exam 2 + Final. Many of the reviews tell you to avoid him because of his harsh participation. However, I believe this is not the case. Professor Velazco provides ample opportunities for you to participate and is really just looking to see if you are engaging the classroom.
