I believe he may be caring for students, but really not a fan of his lecturing style. He doesn't give syllabus, just puts everything on Canvas, and he gives very abstract and hard-to-follow recommendations instead of direct instructions. Lots of personal anecdotes and not out-of-textbook style of lecturing (highlights what's important and might be on exam however). Only 2 tests, 25% each, so study very well. Exam guide is written by a student during review time, so pray you have someone who do their job well or take all notes yourself. Probably the worst professor in all my years of education, and that's considering my love specifically for logistics. His classes are extremely boring, he doesn't teach anything important and transfers almost all of his teaching responsibilities to students, at the same time being very harsh on attendance. Challenging, gratifying style of teaching. Having teaching experience myself this is what I noticed. Great experience in real business environment. Does not use classic academic approach. Think carefully before you register for his class. Heavy workload. There are four weekly meetings for his class and projects; however, it should be only 2 meetings. He takes participation seriously and even rewards people for saying something meaningless. I'm extremely surprised Tag is a 2.6 right now. He is very explicit with feedback for you and getting feedback for himself to make the class better. I found his midterm to be extremely easy and don't expect the final to be hard. He makes listening in class really easy and even outlines when something he is saying is super important.
