the exams are only “open note” if you cheat. i didn't so i found the exams to be difficult. if you show up to office hours, participate, and show that you care about the class, you will do well (he rounded my 92.3 up.) boring lectures but they end early. very nice guy with great connections & experience, probably the easiest schm prof. no finalSCHM2301 2025-12-19 00:10:04 +0000 UTC

Professor Forbes is awesome!!! 10000% take this course with him. He is very understanding and knows that majority of people in his class are required to take this course so he tries to simplify all concepts! The sweetest and most approachable person ever! If you're considering a career in SC, he has a lot of experience and connections. He also understands that this class is a required course for all bus majors so, he tries to explain concepts in a comprehensible way. Very assessable outside of class. Professor Forbes is the best. He is literally the nicest man I have ever met. I wish all my professors were like him. Test are online but non-lockdown. Professor Forbes is very caring and wants his students to succeed. He has a lot of real-life knowledge that makes his class more interesting. Three tests that are all multiple choice and based on the textbook. He usually goes over the exam questions during class before, which is beneficial. Great Professor! Lectures can be a little dry but it's not a big deal. Homework is fairly simple and the three tests we have aren't overly difficult.
