Great guy, good teacher. Has a tendency to get lost in his lecture but is good at answering questions so if you don't understand something, ASK. Very accessible and willing to help students however much they're willing to ask for help. Made electromagnetism not as bad as it could be. Very friendly and very helpful, especially during office hours. The key to success during his lectures is ASKING QUESTIONS. If you don't understand it - ask about it. He is very good at pausing the lecture to field your question. Has no Idea what he's doing. He's too smart to teach this course and is impossible to understand what he's talking about. He does not tell you when he is switching topics and does useless derivations on the board. Physics department is just not good at NU. He is a VERY smart guy but not the best lecturer. He writes long formulas and derivations on the board without explaining them and rarely goes over example problems. He did do some demos though, which were interesting.PHYS1155 2009-12-22 21:41:41 +0000 UTC
