Hands down the best professor I have ever had. He cares about you and your grade if you put in even a tiny amount of effort. Class is hard i am not gonna lie, but if your goal is to be an entrepreneur or be in that field, this guy prepares you for it. Highly recommend.ENTR3305 2025-11-16 21:30:54 +0000 UTC
professor collier is genuinely so knowledgeable and passionate. lectures are really interactive; we are graded every week on our participation so get ready to talk a lot. he is respectful and encouraging tho. a lot of reading and quiz almost every class. the materials are really difficult, but i think hes quite lenient on grading.ENTR3305 2025-04-19 02:52:53 +0000 UTC
He's an awesome professor, I learned a ton in this class. This semester, he started doing quizzes every class based on readings, but they aren't too hard. The midterm is really hard.ENTR3305 2025-04-06 15:31:31 +0000 UTC
Clearly highly intelligent, but the class itself is way too hard, as well as the grading, and exam. I think Professor Collier would excel in a higher level class. He was so nice but I suggest you take a different section as this class is too hardENTR3305 2025-01-22 06:06:37 +0000 UTC
This was definitely a difficult class, but Professor Collier is one of the best professors that I have had here. He is extremely knowledgable and always makes time for his students. The grading seemed strict and arbitrary at first, but if you meet with him outside of class it becomes clear what he looking for. Definitely would take him again.ENTR3305 2024-12-06 15:47:45 +0000 UTC
He does not set you up to do well in this class. When you ask him questions after class he literally just says anything to get rid of you. Not nearly enough materials or clear grading criteria. I would advise against taking this class, unless you're taking it to network with himENTR3305 2024-12-03 17:25:07 +0000 UTC
no rubrics and the most brutal grading you've ever seenENTR3305 2024-12-02 21:59:44 +0000 UTC
He is actually the nicest profs ever so you can never hate him but wow I regret taking this class, it is brutal. Strict grading and no rubrics.ENTR3305 2024-11-08 00:23:46 +0000 UTC
Gregory Collier might be the best business professor Northeastern has to offer. He teaches in an unstructured manner that allows for a lot of free discussion in the class, which often leads to us exploring concepts more in-depth. He knows just the right questions to ask so that valuable conversations can be achieved. Definitely one of a kind.ENTR3305 2024-04-24 20:13:19 +0000 UTC
he is a good guy, knowledgable however not a really good teacher. he puts on so many videos and this class is just hard. the test itself is hard. he is very strict in terms of grading. honestly just take some other prof if you have chanceENTR3305 2022-11-13 21:07:45 +0000 UTC
Translates real-world experience, events, and cases into class. Encourages students to participate and drive discussion. Doesn't hold your hand and makes you work for it. Clearly has a passion for entrepreneurship.ENTR3305 2021-12-28 21:27:22 +0000 UTC
Professor Collier is one of the kindest professors I have had during my time at Northeastern. On top of being extremely knowledgeable about entrepreneurship, he gives his students valuable advice on life during his lecture. He does make you work for it, simply turning everything in won't get you an A. But that's what expected in college anyway.ENTR3305 2021-01-19 14:41:53 +0000 UTC
Extremely smart and has a proven track record of entrepreneurial success. Put a lot of effort into pre-producing high quality recordings of all classes, so class time was dedicated to application and made case homework easier. Content of the class is also v relevant if you are thinking of starting a business, and is always willing to discuss topicsENTR3305 2020-12-22 14:18:38 +0000 UTC
