In my experience, he was a great teacher. I found his office hours very helpful, and don't be afraid to talk to him after class. Get to know him, he loves that. He's also very nice, especially if you're an architecture student. Sometimes we would ask for group quizzes and he was fine with it. For ILS he mostly just talked to us about the problem during the group work which could be a bit distracting at times but you could always follow along and get the right answers. PHYS 1151: he doesn't just reads off his slides, so attending class is pretty important. if you miss, you also cannot make up the ICA. He does a lot of practice problems in class, exams aren't super difficult, they are exactly like the problems in class, he will never put a problem on a exam that he HASNT gone over in class. The good: Helpful outside of class, very nice prof and is excited to teach The bad: Although he is excited to teach, his lectures are very very scattered and things are difficult to understand. Forced to take this class as a requirement for architecture and it's brutal. Homework is endless yet useless for his 3-question quizzes—miss 1 question, hello 67% (not all of the time, but a lot). Generally good but virtually none of the homeworks line up with the actual tests. Its rather difficult to study for them as you have to know the entire thing backwards and forwards to do well on the tests. Professor Hari was a great teacher for physics. The course is fast-paced with a quiz on the previous week's chapter each week which can get a little overwhelming. The quizzes and tests are quite easy however, he is very generous with extra credit and will always find ways to boost your grade.
