Hari's teaching style is a hit or a miss. His lectures can often be long-winded but he uploads quality slides to canvas. No final exam and I personally thought the final project was well organized. He cares about students' success and is accessible.PHYS2371 2025-12-07 17:04:25 +0000 UTC
PHYS 1151: he doesn't just reads off his slides, so attending class is pretty important. if you miss, you also cannot make up the ICA. He does a lot of practice problems in class, exams aren't super difficult, they are exactly like the problems in class, he will never put a problem on a exam that he HASNT gone over in class. Attend his lectures!PHYS1141 2025-09-08 15:46:56 +0000 UTC
The good: Helpful outside of class, very nice prof and is excited to teach The bad: Although he is excited to teach, his lectures are very very scattered and things are difficult to understand. The lecture notes lack fully solved examples. Additionally, the textbooks aren't so great either.PHYS2371 2024-12-02 23:08:40 +0000 UTC
This is for PHYS1152 - he is a nice guy, he may come off very strong in lecture and a bit aggressive, but he is really smart and helpful. His accent is hard to understand at some points and he's very blunt, but overall, a good ILS instructor.PHYS1141 2025-04-25 03:20:54 +0000 UTC
Forced to take this class as a requirement for architecture and it's brutal. Homework is endless yet useless for his 3-question quizzes—miss 1 question, hello 67% (not all of the time, but a lot). Easy grading scale (88% = A) doesn't justify the stress. Delay or take earlier with a different professor if possible!PHYS1141 2025-04-07 18:51:09 +0000 UTC
Generally good but virtually none of the homeworks line up with the actual tests. Its rather difficult to study for them as you have to know the entire thing backwards and forwards to do well on the tests. He never does examples in class until the date of the test, wish he did more before.PHYS1141 2025-03-13 21:00:07 +0000 UTC
Professor Hari was a great teacher for physics. The course is fast-paced with a quiz on the previous week's chapter each week which can get a little overwhelming. The quizzes and tests are quite easy however, he is very generous with extra credit and will always find ways to boost your grade. I learned so much in one semester and I 100% recommend.PHYS1141 2024-04-24 15:45:20 +0000 UTC
