Poorly run course. Excessive, unnecessary busywork shows little respect for students' time and energy. Rigid, dogmatic approach with weak connection to real project management practice. Forces purchase of his own textbook, grades harshly, ignores workload realities, and adds stress with little payoff. Do not recommend. Made us all pay him $80 for a textbook which contained information we should have gotten for free and then when we sent him questions about the course made us reach out to his TA instead like he's too important. I had to drop the course originally due to the amount of participation necessary, he does not say that attendance is mandatory but it is highly recommended because he is lecture-heavy (thoroughly explains) & there were also group projects. I had taken the foundation of project management under him. He has a very clear and in-depth knowledge of the subject. He encourages the class to challenge him by asking questions and patiently answers them till the students are satisfied with his explanations. Very methodical and precise with his approach.
